Ricardo Meireles Vieira is an associate at Belzuz Abogados, S.L.P., branch office for Portugal, and director of the Oporto office, where he joined in 2016.

He has developed mostly in Commercial and Corporate Law, Labour Law and Civil Litigation, manly in the areas of Insurance and credit recovery.

In labour law, has provided advices in matters of negotiation of contracts, dismissals, human resources and most of employment related issues.

In litigation, has experience in several matters of insurance (life, liability, traffic accidents and labour accident), banking and labour (analysis of wrongful dismissals, collective dismissals).

Still in the area of litigation, he has extensive experience in matters of Health Law, in all areas of activity, namely civil and criminal liability, medical negligence, both from the perspective of injured patients and insurance entities.
