Formal shortcomings in objective dismissals that may cause an unfair dismissal and a subsequent higher severance payment

 
The advantage for the employer of objective dismissals, or those based on economical, technical, organizational or production reasons, is a lower severance payment of 20 days' salary for each year of service, but they are subject to some formal requirements that may lead to the declaration of unfair dismissal and, therefore, to apply the highest severance payment due to unfair dismissal.
